The brief for the Jackaroos Cottage was to maintain the original character and charm of the exterior while ensuring the interior exudes quality, class, and warmth. 

Embracing a sustainable approach, we utilized as many recycled and repurposed materials as possible. This includes old corrugated iron, recycled windows, reclaimed bridge timber for the flooring, the original bath, and the original laundry sink repurposed for the kitchen. Each element carries its own story, contributing to a seamless blend of history and modernity that ensures this small cottage’s heritage endures for years to come.
